17 February 2008 - Comic #199

uploaded by ruedulandy

This is another one of Tarrin's hoax videos. In this one he's going around pretending to be from the department of Homeland Security, walking into general stores owned by Arabs telling them that he was ordered to install security cameras in the stores because terrorists are more likely to show up there than in French-owned stores. Then Fred walks in dressed up as a terrorist asking for materials with which he can build a bomb.

This comic is about Fred making more money through Google Ads than Tarrin. Tarrin said the ads earned him about 3€ a month.

26 October 2007 - Comic #162

In 2006 Tarrin did some hoaxes (some of them together with Fred Neidhardt and Laurel) that were featured in the French mature-oriented comic magazine L'Écho des savanes. You can find the articles and pictures on his blog.

You can also find this comic in Charlotte Gainsbourg mon amour page 109-111.

As the comic implies the material they filmed for that hidden camera show was never shown on TV because even though the production team thought the idea was funny, they later decided that it was too much of a touchy subject to show it on TV.

Some scenes have been uploaded though:

So that was the plan for the hidden camera show Salut les Terriens.

This comic was printed in Charlotte Gainsbourg mon amour on pages 105 and 107. On page 106 is a scan of the "le nouveau Detective" magazine Tarrin mentions:

The first two panels where Tarrin tries to make contact with Franquin were printed in the back of the German version of Spirou et Fantasio : Le tombeau des Champignac (German: "Die Gruft derer von Rummelsdorf") as part of a "making of".

And with this ends the long series of "Le déménagement" comics about Tarrin's move to Montpellier.

This comic was also printed on page 25-26 of Journal intime d'un Lémurien.
