5 May 2010 - Comic #318

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
"Delcourt replied: There is no problem using the name Charlotte Gainsbourg
on the cover, as long as the book contains no defamation or violates her privacy... (Yay, won!).
However, according to information from his lawyer, it's not so simple, as there's always a risk.
For example, Sophie Marceau sued Alain Souchon because sang about her breasts in one of his songs.
Then there's the possibility to send a copy to Charlotte for her approval...
But it's a little risky, because there are a lot of comics around the name "Gainsbourg".
She might even reject it without reading pages (she's super busy),
thinking it is an opportunistic book - while actually, it's only a passionate statement.

And yet, I can publish the book like that.
It'll be even more beautiful when it is printed, bound and distributed.
In short, Guy Delcourt is brave and I sincerely thank him for
not having had cold feet on this one."

This comic was also published in Charlotte Gainsbourg mon amour  on page 5.

23 December 2007 - Comic #183

"The pages are in the original format.
Bruno Graff still has a few copies."

So, my friends, this is it. This is the last comic of 2007! Tomorrow we'll start with the ones of 2008!
Tarrin posted significantly less comics that year. So, while it took me 5 months to go through his entries of 2007, we'll be done with 2008 a lot faster. In fact, at the end of February you'll already get to read the comics of early April 2008 and by the end of March we'll have caught up with his entries of mid-October 2008. That's the time when he posted the first 13 pages of his first Maki story called "Un cœur de lémurien". (That's the story that was published in Tarrin's newest book "Le Parcours d'un puceau" which was released earlier this month.)

1 September 2007 - Comic #142

In the comments of this entry, Tarrin said that Trondheim really does not like his Spirou/Violine very much. However, to motivate him to finish his Spirou book, Trondheim forbade Tarrin to draw the Lemur in his presence, even though he likes it a 100 times better than his other works.
Here is the music video of the 1998 song "Je crois que ça va pas être possible" by Zebda mentioned in the last panel:

14 June 2007 - Comic #122

In case you don't understand the reference: Tarrin's Spirou et Fantasio is said to bear a close resemblance to the drawing style of Belgian comics artist André Franquin who worked on the series from 1947 to 1969.
