19 November 2006 - Comic #1
Okay, I have to explain that lame pun in the in the second panel. In the original Laurel says "Je me suis fait à l'idée" which translates to "I got the idea/message". Now, Tarrin pretends to have misheard her. He acts as if she had said "Je me suis fait Hallyday." ("I did Hallyday.") and thus replies with "Quoi?! Lui aussi?!", which means "What?! Him too?!".
I'm not too happy with my translation of that pun, but it was the best I could come up with...
Some background info about this comic: Back in 2006 Tarrin and Laurel used to date but broke up after only a few months. Back at that time both of them had writing access to Fleurblog where they battled out their break-up in public. In the end Tarrin decided to set up his own blog and that's how his current blog came into existence. Fleurblog was later handed over to Tarrin's old friend and colleague Fred Neidhardt.
The "Cerise" that is mentioned in the fifth panel is Laurel's daughter.
